The problem: Peoria County, Illinois had significant water issues and was forced to change chemical companies approximately every two years. Still, none of the chemical solutions were solving their scaling and bacteria issues.

The solution: A representative from Johnson Controls recommended the QMS systems as a potential solution. The first HydroPlex was installed on an 800-ton cooling tower. The installation was inspected at the end of the first season. Subsequently, the customer ordered three more HydroPlex units, six HydroPlex CL units, one special engineered unit for a steam boiler, and two special engineered units for outdoor fountains.
